I’ll get right to task this month, as space is limi- ted! You all know I like to start with birthdays, and we have no shortage this month... The cele- brations start at Union Jacks on Thursday, May 2, for Franki’s Birthday Party! Just a couple of days later, on Saturday, May 4, Julie will celebrate her Star Wars-themed Birthday Bash at Guilty Pleasu- res. Then, on Friday, May 10, it's Fawn's Birthday Party at Union Jacks. The very next day, on Satur- day, May 11, there's a birthday remembrance ri- ght back at Union Jacks. Happy Heavenly Birthday to Ilya, the beloved founder! Wrapping up birth- days for May, we have Maddi Ray's Birthday Party at Cheetahs in Salem on May 24! Happy Birthday to you all—I hope you enjoy your special day!
But wait...there’s more (in my best Slap Chop du- de’s voice)! Who’s in for some Cinco de Mayo fun? Stars Cabaret (Bridgeport and Salem) will have their Cinco de Mayo Celebration all weekend long (Friday, May 3 through Sunday, May 5), complete with food and drink specials, giveaways, and prizes. Stars is also showing the love to our active duty and veteran military members with free admission on Saturday, May 18. Awesome!
Now you know I wasn’t getting through all the events this month without writing: May the 4th be with you! Celebrate Star Wars style at Devils Point on Saturday, May 4, with their 9th Annual Star Wars Night! I call dibs on Jar Jar Binks—nobody better show up with the same outfit, okee day!?
POLEROTICA 2024
Well..folks...it’s hard to believe we're already at the halfway point of Polerotica! If you haven't made it to one of the qualifier rounds so far, you're definitely missing some fantastic performances and industry moments!
We'd like to congratulate all of our qualifying finalists to date:
Round 1: Rain from Sunset Strip, Destiny from Guilty Pleasures, and Shayla from Guilty Pleasures
Round 2: Raven Lynx from Kit Kat Club, Kota from X Exotic Lounge, and Kit Kat from Kit Kat Club
Round 3: Nyx from Firehouse Cabaret, Synn from Stars Cabaret (Salem), and Remy from Stars Cabaret (Salem) & Club Detour
