Nightmare
Whew.
Did I miss anything? In case you've been too busy watching
TV, you might have 
skipped
these little gems culled from Portland's daily newspaper.
All the talk and fear of war has gas masks selling out at
military surplus stores in Portland and around the state.
"I think
we've probably sold 400 in the last week," said Jim Stevens,
an employee at Andy and Bax's--as reported in the Oregonian.
Furthermore, the price has doubled with the skyrocketing demand.
Those of you in the latex fetish scene may be lucky enough
to already own a gas mask. This Halloween, Exotic says gas
masks make a fine fashion statement for everyone. And, now
they can be viewed as practical, too.
And let's
not forget about guns. Don Munster, who owns Fairly Honest
Don's Machine Gun Parlor out in Hillsboro said "there's been
an increase, but it's not like a landrush," according to the
Oregonian. And shotguns have been particularly popular, another
gun store manager said. In addition, the Oregon State Police
reported that they are processing twice the usual number of
background checks.
There's
some other stuff you might want to spend your money on besides
gas masks and guns...like sizzling sex. Hell, if you can afford
to buy a gun, you can manage to drop a few Jacksons at your
local strip club, lingerie modeling shop or adult store. Times
are tough all over. So go spread that happy green on the adult
